Why did you start this organization?
The founders would have self-care days every month due to the amount of stress they endured from their doctoral program. Based off a conversation the founders were having, the phrase TEAM NO BLACK GIRL LEFT BEHIND was coined. We saw the importance of taking care of yourself and being surrounded by other black women that also care about your wellbeing. We also saw the importance of building lifelong connections as well as uplifting and inspiring one another.
how can i become involved?
If you are interested with the No Black Girl Left Behind Team having an event in your city, you can contact us and we look forward to spreading our mission and purpose with ambitious women. We are always interested with connecting with like-minded women and organizations. If you want to join the team as an NBGLB Ambassador for your city, please click on the NBGLB Ambassador link and we would love to have women on board who can carry out our mission and purpose.

We are looking for black owned business owners to sponsor our events. We are offering an opportunity to donate samples of your product to our audience to grow your brand, connect with the local community, generate leads, and build future clientele.
